[Opinions] Iseult
WDYTO Iseult? It was just something that came to mind during class, and I'm rather taken with it. I love the history of it, and the fact that it is something you don't really hear of, but it sounds familiar and in keeping with a lot of names.
Do you like Iseult, or do you prefer Isolde or Yseult? Is it an out-there way of attaching on to the Isabella / Isabel / Isabelle trend? What combos would you make with Iseult?

I prefer Eseld, but Iseult is my second favorite form of it. I like it because it's Arthurian, and I like that it seems sweet, but strong, smart, and quirky.
I like the combos Eseld Greer and Eseld Marguerite. I think Eseld is a lot softer, though, and wouldn't like Iseult in the same combos as much.

I prefer Isolda. Because Isolde has that e at the end - I have to guess whether it's pronounced, or not; if it's pronounced, it sounds too exotic for my taste. And because the sound of Iseult reminds me of "insult."
It fits well with the Isabella / Isidora fashionable look & sound, yeah - but I don't think it comes off as too much of an attempt to "uniquely fit in" like Aubrey, Avery, Kinsley, or anything like that. Because Isabella / Isidora aren't really faddish, so much as they are just old names that are newly fashionable.

Actually, my favorite variant of Isolde is Eseld :-) I love all of variations, though. I don't think it's anything like the popularity surrounding Isabella, which I think has more to do with the 'bella' and 'bel' rather than the 'Is' part of the name.
Anyway, my favorite Eseld combos are Eseld Amelia and Eseld Camille. I've only just began thinking of combos for it though, so I haven't come up with much just yet. I'm remaining picky about it lol

I really love Iseult. And that would be my favourite form of the name.
Can't, though, think of a combo, though.
