I love Julian! It was a name I had on my lists as a middle schooler when I first started to become really interested in names. Then it sort of declined for a while, but recently I have rediscovered it and I'm really liking it lately. I've always prefered softer, gentler male names, and I think the nickname Jules is awesome.

I don't know understand why Julian wouldn't make your favorites just because Juliet is a favorite girl's name? Unless you're considering them for a real-life sibset? That would be strange, yeah, but if you like a name, you like a name...

I LOVE Julian! I have Quentin (nn Quin) and Gwyneth (nn Gwen) both on my favorites lists but I would never use them as siblings.... doesn't mean I can't love both names :) I'll just make a decision as to which I love more when it comes to actually having to choose
