[Opinions] Full names for the nickname Maisie?
I was thinking Marguerite or Margaret, but I'm looking for other ideas?
Oh, and what do you think of Mavis? I'm liking it as a middle.
Merci! :)

Margaret would work well.
I don't really care for Mavis. I think it's very old ladyish.

But would Maisie age that well?
That's the reason I'm trying to find longer names for it; I don't think it'd age well.

I think its cutesiness level is fine for aging, but I think it'll be really dated.
Yes!
I think it would be fine. I don't know why it wouldn't. Yeah, it may sort of sound childish, but I don't think it would age that badly. It should be fine.

I think it would age just fine.
I disagree
I think it's way, way too childish for an adult.

I can see it on a small child and on an old lady, but I can't see it on anything in-between (teenagers and adults).
Marguerite is lovely.
Mavis would work, but I'm not too fond of the sound of it. I prefer Maeve. Margo / Margot and May / Mae "Maisie" would work as well even though they were originally and still are nicknames for Margaret.
Other ideas:
Maia - If you go with the MAY-a pronunciation, this will work.
Mairead
Mared

I know an old lady named Mavis, so it feels 'old' to me.

I know an older Mavis, too, and I was just thinking about her when the name suddenly began to appeal to me.
