I don't know how I feel about it as a fn. I don't dislike it, but there's something very slightly off-putting about it. It's not the harsh sound, I don't think. I think it might be the "dence" part just not being my favorite.
But anyway, Prudence Margaret and Prudence Rosemary are lovely. My Prudence combo is Emma Prudence, which I love. Some other ideas:
Prudence Alberta - ooh, I love this!
Prudence Dulcinea
Prudence Eugenia
Prudence Henriette
Prudence Iðunn (see Ithunn)
Prudence Malvina
ok, I definitely love it paired with something regal.
Prudence Fínmhidh (FIN-vee, "wine-mead")
Prudence Fionnmhaith (FIN-va, "fair, good")
Prudence Tuilelaith (see Talulla)
Oh yes, it goes wonderfully with some Irish stuff, too. I think because it sounds so pious.
Okay, I've now talked myself into liking it. :)
