Too flakey to use, for me anyway. Because the word and its usage are so ... stuffy? (the cliche "halcyon days" is what springs to mind). If it was only the name of a bird, it might be cool.
Anyways, I think a person who was really named that would not face too much flak about it, because people get used to each other's names, and it's not stupid ... it's just too far-out an impression for my taste.
Definitely more boyish sounding, to me.
