What do you think of Prosper? It's been growing on me lately, but I'd only use it as a middle name.
Any suggestions for a first name? I thought of Hayden Prosper, but that's becoming a default first for an unusual middle name.

I love Prosper as a middle name, too. It's the kind of name that I think would be too weird as a first name, but that's great as a surprise of sorts for anyone who learns his middle name. I don't have any specific first names in mind, but I don't really like Hayden with it; Prosper needs a slightly more classic first name, if you ask me. Sofia and Bear gave great suggestions, though.

I really like it. It's interested me ever since seeing The Tempest (which I think was based on the Shakespeare play, but I saw it when I was a kid and really don't know).
Anyway, the guy in that movie was named Gideon Prosper, which is awesome. My other combos are Kieran Prosper and Prosper Benaiah.

I love Prosper. Apart from the obviously good meaning, it has an edgy quality to it. Like he knows something I don't. Very sophisticated.
Hayden isn't my style. It's far from sophisticated in my mind. I don't know if I can do justice to Prosper, but how about:
