I find it pointless when a nn is the same length as the original name (in terms of syllables). Plus, I also don't think it works because of the difference in pronunciation between the BRAD in Bradley and the BRAID in Brady. At the same time I don't think it's totally ridiculous or anything seeing as all the letters that are in Brady are also in Bradley.
