[Opinions] Couple combo
Replies
I don't know how to judge a "couple combo." People get together for every reason under the sun except how their names sound together. It's not like a sibling set where one can imagine the same person(s) making the decisions. A couple combo is so random.
Can I see Roxana Rajani and Gabriel Sirius as a couple? Sure, who not? I can also see John Lennon and Yoko Ono as names for a couple. Any names can be used for couples.
Now if you ask me what I think of the names individually, then I can put on my analytical namenerd hat and blather on about all sorts of things. I usually don't go for combinations where the names share the same first letter / sound. But Roxana Rajani is winning me over. It takes a minute or two. But the names are both exotic sounding to me. And I'm beginning to dig the repeated "r's" here. I love how the first ending ("-a") is soft and calming, but the second ending ("-i") is playful and energetic. A surprising thumbs up for Roxana Rajani from me. :-)
I love Gabriel. But Sirius feels rather juvenile, sorry. And I thought that before it was associated with HP. Besides, I keep thinking of the word "serious," not a constellation. I'd prefer Gabriel Cyrus.
