Help[Opinions] Alaric
So what do you think of Alaric? I see it get mentioned or suggested quite a few times here on the boards, but no one really seems to talk about it outside of combo creations a whole lot. What's your opinion of it? Personally, I quite like it, but I don't think I'd ever use it in real life.

I think it is better as a GP, but Eric would be a good nn for it if someone did decide to use it.

I love the name. It is deffinetly a name i could see on a man. and even a little boy.

I like it, too, but largely because it appeals to my geekiness - Alaric sounds like a fantasy book character name to me. :)

I like it, but it makes me think of Blackadder. I like the show, but it isn't the best association.... I dunno why, maybe it sounds too close to Baldrick for me.

I really like it. Its unique without sounding weird, as it is close to Eric. I'd love to say I'd use it in real life, but I'm not 100% confident with it

I love it and would use it as a middle name. It's a strong, underused gem of a name.

I think we share the same opinion of the name. I may possibly consider it in the middle name slot IRL....
