Rafaela is yet another name that I really like. What do you think of it?

I love it but prefer spelled Raphaella. I've had Raphaella Anais on my long list for what seems like forever!!

I think it's ok but I know a really unattractive (and I don't just mean looks) Raphaela which kinda ruins the name for me no matter how it's spelt.

I love it.
We're thinking of naming our son Raphael (despite my brother swearing to torment my son the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), but I think Rafaela is prettier. If my husband wasn't so sold on Raphael for a son I'd push him towards Rafaela for a girl. :-D
Be aware, though, that the connection to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is strong. Whenever I bring up the name Raphael that is all I get it - it drives us both crazy.

It drives me crazy too. However, I don't think the connection is as strong outside the US.
