[Games] Britt's Compromise Congrats Round 2
It's been four years and your family has had more children. Just an FYI, this game is going to be pretty short, probably five or six rounds, as the way I have it set up it will go pretty quickly. I may decide to extend it, with you taking the part of one or all of your children and namign grandchildren. Updates as I make up my mind. For now, enjoy!Families:UNs: britto08 and Ninor

How about we name our newest boy after our fathers? Nicholas Francis Talbot 'Cole' or 'Colin'? Theo and Cole/Colin? I realize that both names end in 's,' but honoring goes above and beyond the flow of a combo.I would like to honor at least one of our fathers in our son's name.
On a different note, since I was made the head of Talbot Industries a few years ago, did you want to relocate somewhere closer to your family? Maybe somewhere between Connecticut and Louisiana?Also, how is your brother Will's family? Do we have a nephew or another niece? {Only answer this if you want to -- I was just curious what you'd had in mind...}
vote up1
That's a wonderful idea. Do you prefer Cole or Colin as a nickname? I'm partial to Colin, myself. And my family's doing well. We actually have three nephews! Jacqueline has had two more boys in the last four years, in addition to the one she was pregnant with four years ago.
In other news, Jamie is seriously dating Sarah Brooks - a woman he met at her own showing. And Charlie got married two years ago to Florence.I don't really mind staying where we are, I rather like being near the ocean and having snow sometimes.Family:

2 precious little girls... and isn't Kian such a great big brother?!Well love, perhaps we should pick names out of that top list as those were the ones we both liked the most? Also, because we gave Kian a family name for his middle name (and potentially for our next son when/if we have one), did you want to do the same for our little princesses? My favorite names out of that list, and the ones I think fit best with Kian's name are:Alice
Lily
Mia
Rosalie
Sienna
Helena
Alexa or AlexisWhich did you like best my love?

VIVA LA ROMA! Well, Viva la Marino. The hotel respected our request for Italy and I am now the General Manager of their location in Rome. They helped us find a place in a quaint little village just outside of Rome called Marino. Hm, I like both Natan and Tamir so I guess it depends on flow. Some Italian names I like:
Alessandro
Antonio
Armando
Benedetto
Casimiro
Dante
Desiderio
Fabrizio
Fiorenzo
Giacomo
Ignazio
Lazzaro
Massimo
Maurizio
Nicomedo
Orlando
Pasquale
Romolo
Valentino
VincenzoOur little boy is just as bubbly and sweet as his big sister, but a lot more rambunctious for sure! I am pretty sure he learned to run before he could walk.

I'm so glad we have similar taste in names. I love Charles Bram, and I think it goes well with Henry. Let's use it!Other ideas for later: Collin, Josiah, Jasper (I know it is Twilight-y, but I liked it a long time ago :) ), Ezra, Edwin, Elias, Owen, Evan.

Oh I love Jasper, it's the least twi hard name and a great name, I also like Elias and Owen!
I am so glad you like Charles Bram! Do we want a story or perhaps just a picture.
Oh any nick names for Henry or Charles?

I'll let you pick the picture this time. Do you think Charlie is too matchy with Henry? I like Charlie, but just Charles is fine too. Big brother Henry was thrilled to have another boy in the family! He is ready to play, but says Charles can't play with his trucks until he gets bigger. Mom has decided to work from home for a little while to watch her boys grow up.Feel free to add more!

NamesAreAwesomeSo we have had another daughter and a son! As I've said before, I'd be very happy if we cpuld honour my brother Gabriel Hector in some way as we name our son. It could be a variation of one of his names or a name associated with one of his name, but somehow honouring..
For names otherwise, do you want to make a list of names like last time? :)Some names that I like (on a boy, because you already have some examples of girl's names):
Leonidas (or any other name starting with Leo-, nn Leo)
Adam
Noah
Marcus/Marc/Markus/Mark
Jordan
Avery
Chance/Chase
Romeo
Adrien/Adrian
Xavier
Benjamin (nn Ben, Benji)
Samuel (nn Sam)
Arcadius (nn Caden)
Archer
Wilson/Winston
Tristan
Victor
Dante (nn Dan)
Florian
JulianWell, as you can see my name style for boys are mostly Biblical, Historical, Italian and French, but I'm open-minded! What are your thoughts?

Of yours, I like these ones best: Leonidas (or any other name starting with Leo-, nn Leo), Adam, Noah, Marcus/Mark, Jordan, Adrian, Benjamin (nn Ben, Benji), Samuel (nn Sam), Winston, Dante (nn Dan), & Julian. A boy's name that I really like that is similar to Leonidas is Leopold. A name similar to Adrian that I like better for some reason is Hadrian. Suggestions:Leopold "Leo" Gabriel?
Marcus "Mark" Gabriel?
Hector Benjamin?
Winston Noah?
Samuel Dante?
Leonidas "Leo" Julian?
Jordan "Dan" Leonidas?
Leopold "Leo" Benjamin?
Benjamin "Benji" Dante?
Gabriel "Gabe" Winston?
Winston Gabriel?
Hadrian Gabriel? (nn suggestions?)
Dante "Dan" Hadrian?
Julian "Jules" Samuel?
Leonidas "Leo" Julian?
Hadrian Mark?

Also, we should think about our daughter! I looked at some combos from last round that we both liked;Sophia Amber (nn Soph or Sophie)
Susannah Iona (nn Susie or Sanna)
Helena Madelyn (nn Elly)
Juliana Odette (nn, Jules, Julie or Ana)
Rachel Odette
Octavia Hannah (nn Ava or Tavi)
Alice Sophia
Hester Iona (nn Essie)My heart leans towards Hester Iona and Rachel Odette, but truly, I like all of these!
vote up1
Wow, I like all of these!
Leopold "Leo" Gabriel was a favourite to me, but I'm not sure about the sibset Leah and Leo? What do you think?
Another one I really liked was Hector Benjamin! Not to mention Marcus "Mark" Gabriel! What do you think of Hector Hadrian?
vote up1
In Response to BothI think I like Hester Iona (nn Essie) the best for the little girl. Hector Hadrian has too many h's if you ask me. Leo and Leah would be a little awkward. If we went with Leopold Gabriel, maybe his nickname could be Gabe, since Gabriel would be his middle name. Hector Benjamin and Marcus "Mark" Gabriel would be good second/third choices, too.
vote up1
Maybe it's a little too unconventional to call the little boy by his middlename (as in Leopold Gabriel)? I'd say it's better if we settle with Marcus "Mark" Gabriel in that case. Have we reached our decission? :)

Approx. spacing preference: 2+ yearsA daughter and a son! Looks like we'll be using the middle name William. I'll let you take the lead on this one, dear husband, as we used my favorite name for Lily. What is our second daughter's name? One from the list before?
vote up1
Yay, a son! For first names I especially like Oliver and Noah. But I also like Felix, Isaac, Zephyr, Maximilian, Simon, Rhys, Kieran, Elias... Do you have any suggestions? For a girl I like Rose names, but as you know I have a sister named Rosalie. She doesn't go my Rose though, so maybe we could use Rosaline, Rosalind or Rosemary nn Rose? From last round we both agreed that we liked these names: Ariana, Jessamine, Nora, Mathilde, Matilda, Theodora, Sienna, Elisabeth, Zara/Sara?, Noelle, Alice, Jocelyn, Noa, Molly. And you said that Freya and Persephone might grow on you. And I have two suggestion, Adelaide and Emilia. What do you think? Any new suggestions? And I can't believe 4 years went by so fast, it seems like our little Lily was just born!
vote up1
I LOVE Oliver and Noah both, I'd be happy to use either of those names I think Oliver William sounds best, but Noah William is really nice too. I think Rose would be great as a middle name, and though I don't like themes generally, there's something sweet about a flower theme for sisters that I can't help liking. If we go for a rose name as a first name, I like Rosemary nn Rose best. I think your sister would like having a niece named after her.I like Emilia a lot from your new suggestions, and I like Adelaide but prefer Adele or Adela. I'd also suggest Evelyn or Aveline. And from our list from before Ariana, Jessamine, Theodora, Jocelyn, and Noa are my favorites. Freya is especially starting to grow on me too.I can't belive what a good big sister our Lily is. She loves helping out with her little sister and brother. I can't believe she starts preschool soon, it seems only a little while ago that she was a baby learning to talk and walk and now she's learning to read and count and so many new things!
vote up1
I love Oliver a little more than Noah, so Oliver William is perfect for me. I actually hadn't thought about the flower theme. There isn't really any other flower names I like for girls, so maybe we should stay out of Rose? Or do you think it's fine to have two girls with a theme and name a third daughter something else?
I don't really like Evelyn or Aveline, but they might grow on me as middle names.
I'll give you some combo suggestions, and you can let me know if there is any you like, give me some suggestions yourself etc. :)Theodora Ariana "Thea?"
Noa Jocelyn (but we wouldn't be able to use Noah for a boy..)
Emilia Jocelyn
Jocelyn Freya
Noa Adelaide
Rosemary Aveline "Rose" or "Mary?"Since we are naming our son after me, do you want us to name the girl after you? Julia? Juliana?
vote up1
I'm fine with leaving Rose alone if you are, since I'd really rather carry a theme through if I start one. I'm open to a middle name after me, but I really like Theodora Ariana and Jocelyn Freya. Another combo I like is Ariana Jocelyn, or even Jocelyn Ariana. What do you think of Joss as a mickname for Jocelyn if we use it as a first name?
vote up1
I'm happy with Theodora Ariana, Jocelyn Freya, Ariana Jocelyn and Jocelyn Ariana, so I'll leave the final decision up to you. Do you like Thea as a nn for Theodora? I haven't really thoguht about a nickname for Jocelyn, since I don't really think it needs one. But if you want to use Joss, I'm okay with that.
vote up1
Thea's a great nn for Theodora. I think Theodora Ariana, nn Thea, would be great for our littel girl. We'll put Jocelyn possible nn Joss back in our pockets...who knows, we may have another girl!So we have Lily Seraphina, Theodora Arianna "Thea", and Oliver William.
