What do you think about Coralie pronounced Cora-lye and Corinna pronounced Core-in-uh? Felicity is the latest name we have picked, but I can't stop looking at names to make sure it's the right one for our daughter.

I like both names, but if I had to choose, I'd pick Coralie. I also like Coral.

Both are nice names. I have no problem with Corinna being pronounced either way, however, the 'lye' in Coralie just seems wrong to me.

I like Corinna and also Corinne; the poem Corinna's Gone A-Maying is delightful!

Coralye? Nope. I've always enjoyed Coralie with, approximately, the French pronunciation (co ra lee).

That said, I really like Felicity, and Felicity Corinna could be wonderfully distinctive if you haven't got a mn lined up.

Corinna is lovely, but will get misheard and misspelled an awful lot (Karen, Corrina, Karina, Carina, etc). I really like Coralie pronounced COR-ah-lee, but would never think to say it with a -lye ending. I don't think that's a legit pronunciation, since Coralie is French.

Someone ruined Cora-lee for me when they said it sounds like orally. I never even thought of that.

Well, that's not a good reason to use the wrong pronunciation. :/ I would never think of orally, but if it bothers you, would you prefer just Cora?

I'd go with Felicity. I prefer Corinne to Corinna, and simple Cora to the overstated Coralie.
