Help[Opinions] First initals as nicknames
I know this is very particular, but am thinking of names in which the nickname comes from the sound of the first initial, as in "B" for Beatrice/Bianca, or "C" for Celia/Ciara...you get the idea.

I like the idea but I can only think of boys:

X for Xavier
D for Dean
L for Elric (does that count?)

Effie!
Effie is usually a nn for Euphemia, Persephone, Josephine, Stephanie, etc. But for my money it's just as valid a nn for someone with the initials F.E. (Ex: Frances Evelyn, nn Effie)
