2. Do you prefer it on a girl or a boy? Neither, but I'd expect it to be a girl.

Hollywood-superficial, trendy-spunky-boyish, reminds me of harlot much more than Charlotte does.
I'm okay with Marlo as a nickname for names like Marlene and Marilyn, but Harlow to me says "Trying to borrow some glamor from Jean Harlow, and at the same time seem classy and tough because it's a surname; what's a harlot? Dunno that word" ... it's not that I don't like the sound of the name. I do, I like all of the sound. I just can't get past the strong associations enough to actually like it. If not for the associations and surname factor, I'd be all over it and give it like an 8.5!
