This is a very, very rare name. About the only records of it in Ancestry Library are of women in the Hamilton family of Pennsylvania. I assume that is the family you are descended from. When a name is this rare, the best guess is that the parents of the original name bearer simply created it out of their own imagination.

It's unlikely to have any connection with Native Americans because the only possible Native American connection is the middle name of a man in the Hualapai tribe in Arizona, and looking at other census records this is almost surely a misprint for Piema in that case.
