Year 1: Twin Girls
Sophie and Henri met two years ago and got married just after they found out they were expecting a child together!

However, at a check-up they found two heartbeats.....twins! Sophie went into labor at 8 and a half months and gave birth naturally to identical twin girls, whom they named Elizabeth Briella Olivie and Charlotte Isabelle Ainsley. Elizabeth and Charlotte have dark red-brown hair and blue eyes, Ellie is calm while Charlotte is a bit more loud. The parents are adjusting to the newborns, and Sophie is now taking her school long distance so she can care for her twins.

Year 2: First Son
Just three months after the twins' birth, Sophie found out she was pregnant again. James Henri Charles was born just a month before the twins' first birthday. James has light brown hair (looks like it might be blond) and blue eyes, he is pretty mellow for a newborn. Sophie has been finding it difficult to raise 1 year old twins and a newborn so her mother helps with the babies during the day so Sophie can continue with some schoolwork. But the good news is Henri just finished med school and is now starting his residency at the QE II Health Sciences Center in Halifax.

Year 3: Another baby?!
A few months after James' birth, Sophie again found out she was prenant. She just graduated and now she is expecting her and Henri's fourth child at the age of 18. She gave birth to their fourth child, a baby girl named Amelia Grace Marie. Amelia has brown hair and again blue eyes. Sophie is still trying to juggle now four kids with the help of her mother while Henri works long hours at the hospital.

Year 4: You've gotta be joking.....
Sophie already has her hands full with twins Ellie and Charlotte (2), James (1) and Amie (2m). But she barely recovered from Amelia's birth and found out once again she was pregnant, with their fifth child. Sophie and Henri's parents as well as the young couple themselves are so shocked, but since Henri has such a high paying job they decided they would be ok with a large family. Just months later, Sophie went into labor at home.....thank goodness Henri was there! There she gave birth to their daughter Emilie Lucia Rose. Emilie has brown hair and brown eyes (finally eyes inherited from Henri). Her older siblings all seem to love her to pieces, the twins enjoy entertaining her.

Year 5: An unexpected houseguest
Just less then a year since Emilie's birth has passed, when all of a sudden Henri's 14 year old cousin Geneviève showed up at our door. She ran away from home after a fight with her parents about how she might be pregnant. After a test, it turns out she wasn't but she wanted to stay awhile to let things cool down. She stayed for a month (this was July so there was no school) sleeping on our couch and helping with the kids (greatly appreciated), then she gladly returned to her parents after things simmered down.

Year 6: Henri's Trip
Nothing too much happened this year. Henri went on a business trip to a big conference in Toronto for a week, leaving her with the children. But only the youngest two are at home during the day, the twins are in kindergarden at school and James is in preschool. After a long week, a glad Henri was greeted by five happy children and his wife at the airport and they all went home.

Year 7: A New Pet
The children really wanted a pet, so for Christmas, Sophie and Henri bought a kitten! The children all agreed on the name Bijou for the perfect white kitten, and they all love her to pieces.

Year 8: Triple the Surprise
It's been four years since they've had any children, so it came as a surprise that Sophie was expecting again. But the big shock was.....it's triplets! And after a tough pregnancy, their triplets were born by c-section, a boy and two girls. They were named (with the help of older siblings) Daniel John Enzo, Alexandra Juliet Azure and Isabella Anne Élise. They all seem to have dark hair and Daniel has brown eyes while Alexandra and Isabella have blue. Since all of the children are in school, it is a bit easier taking care of the triplets.

Year 9: The Long Business Trip
Henri was sent on a long business trip to Quebec, for four months! The family mostly kept in contact through Skype and the time passed quickly and he was back for the beginning of the new school year where Emilie was just starting Kindergarden.

Year 10: The Hospital
Sophie's mother was in a car accident and was rushed to Henri's hospital with serious injuries. She was in a coma for weeks until she woke up. Sophie was at her bedside alot with the older children, and after many months her mother was slowly recovering.
Year 11: Moving West
Henri got a new job out in Edmonton, Alberta so the family had to pack up and move west. Henri likes his new job better and he gets more money. The children like their new big home, but still miss Halifax. Sophie promised they could go back and visit though.

Year 12: RIP Aunty
One day out of the blue, Henri got a call from Geneviève with terrible news. Her mother, Henri's aunty died in a boating accident. Geneviève, now 21 years old, is devestated. The famiy flew out to Halifax for the funeral and then returned home with heavy hearts.

Year 13: A New Son
Again, it's been awhile since there's been babies. But Sophie finds herself pregnant again, with her and Henri's ninth child. After an easy 9 months, Sophie gives birth to their son Nathan Jean Richard. He has light hair and blue eyes, the older siblings adore him!

Year 14: Sophie gets a Job
After a decade of raising her children, Sophie finally decided to get a degree and become a nurse. She earned her degree over the past four years and now has a job at the same hospital as Henri as a nurse.

Year 15: And last but not least.....more twins!
Sophie thought she was done having children, but then she got pregnant again.....with another set of twins. She had a hard labor at eight months, she gave birth to idential twin girls. They were named Layla Penelope Ana and Natalia Aline June.
