When she was 27, Helena lost her job as a photographer and decided just to stay at home and take care of Rose. When Cam was 1, the family visited relatives in France. Helena volunteered in Thailand when she was 33. When the triplets were 3, Helena and August decided to move to a new house because their old one was much too small for all 9 kids with Helena expecting more. When Helena and August were 36, they moved the family from Italy to New Zealand because they wanted the kids to speak better English. The next year, they went back to Italy to visit the family they had left behind.
