what your favorite spelling of each name?:
Alexander, Roman, and Karsten (looks more authentic to me; it's a very German-seeming name)
which do you like better?: I like all of them except Adler (makes me think of "addled")
which makes a better first name?: Alexander, Roman, Carsten
which makes a better middle name?: Adler
could they work as a combo?: yes, R.Al., C. Al., any with Adler as mn; Al. Adler is not great though

which name is your favorite?: probably Alexander. I like Roman pretty well but it's not on my list - I prefer Rowan; and Karsten is really cool but a bit foreign for me personally (not too foreign on someone else's kid, but on mine)
