Felix is one of my very favourite names! It's cheerful, plucky, quirky yet classic, and even has an x in it--what's not to love?
I'm not bothered by the cat association, but a lot of other people seem to be. Oh well. I certainly hope it isn't becoming trendy, though I wouldn't mind seeing a few more little Felixes around.
Combos:
Silvester Felix / Felix Silvester- I love these combos so much, but the cartoon cat comments would probably never end.

Felix Peregrine
Felix Judicaël (Judicael)
Felix Erasmus
Felix Ambrose
