[Opinions] Re: Favourite Scottish name combos?
in reply to a message by Scotty
Don't have any already made, but I'm happy to amke some now.
Caoimhe Isobel
Iona Maisie
Sorcha Gormlaith
Eilidh Caitriona
Tadhg Padraig
Alistair Conall
Finley Angus
Caoimhe, Iona and Sorcha are all on my PNL and I'd be happy to use any of them IRL. I think I'm going to have to add Eilidh and Tadhg to the list.

Gormlaith!
Is Gormlaith kick-a$$ or what? I was on vacation recently and Gormlaith got into my head. She wouldn't leave for days. I find her strong and handsome, regal and kind. I picture her as a best friend to Boudicca. She's a real lady. I pronounce her "GORM-luh," is that correct?
Tadhg is a top five name for me. I'm surprised the Anglicized form Tighe isn't more popular here in the U.S.

I picked it cause of the meaning, I'm not big on the look or sound, but the meaning was hard to go past. I was prn. it same wasy as you. It could make a great middle name to spice up a more common first name.
There's a Tadhg at Ella's school. We also have a Saoirse, a Caoimhe and an Aoife (not all from the same family). I think thats pretty cool cause we live in Aus.
