When the king and his queen announces the names of their newborn daughter Charlotte, the long phase of speculation among the people ended. Most people were very surprised because they expected them to name the girl Louise, after Georges mother, but they decided on Charlotte (the wife of the first king from their family) Anne (Georges youngest sister who at the same time is her godmother) Catherine (Margarets mother) and Victoria (Georges grandmothers name).
