I really like this name, but whenever I mention it people say it's a dogs name. Other names which I think are along the same lines are Jasper, Oscar, Chester, Dexter, Asher, Axel, Barney, Boris, Felix, Gene, Hugh, Jerome, Jethro, Lawrence, Maxwell, Mickey, Remy, Rex, Terence, Tobiah / Tobias, Tyrone, Vincent, Victor.

I don't like it, for personal reasons. Names with a similar feel:
