Two years ago, Marion met Heath. She was still very upset about the loss of Matt and Heath had been through the same thing when his husband died of cancer a couple of years back. Heath is a spokesperson for a bisexual rights movement. In the past, Heath has been married to a man but claims to be equally attracted to women.
Delilah and Hailey are too young to really have an opinion about Heath. He is always very nice to them and they are happy to have man in the house again (being a single mum of five children had been very stressful for Marion and she rarely got time over for Delilah and Hailey, but now when Heath helps her, she has more time over to be with her family).
Lucas, Henry and Kieran, on the other hand, think it's gross to have a bisexual stepdad. Lucas is the one least accepting Heath. Lucas was raised Catholic and has a hard time accepting the fact that Heath has been MARRIED to a man before.
Alessia keeps in touch with Marion and even though she has only met Heath a couple of times before, she likes him. Unfortuneatly, Marion and Alessia doesn't have much time to chat nowadays, because Alessia just gave birth to Madison. Just ten months before, she had Jesse! Not much sleep for her and Wesley..
