[Facts] Creirdyddlydd
Hi.
I came across this girls name when searching for names related to the Legend of King Arthur. I was wondering if anyone knows how to pronounce it? I searched pronunciation of Creirdyddlydd on google and found two different answers kree-deeth-lith and kree-duth-ith. Does anyone know the correct pronunciation?
Thanks very much.

This is actually a misspelling of Creiddylad - https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Creiddylad - which is a name from the Arthurian story of Culhwch and Olwen. It has never been used as a name outside of literature. In modern Welsh it would be pronounced, roughly, cray-THUL-ad.
(Quick pronunciation guide: dd = a soft th; ei = like the e in 'red' run together with ee, which sounds roughly like the ay in 'hay' in English; y = uh except in final syllables, when it's like the i in 'hit'.)

Based on my knowledge of Welsh, it would be pronounced kray-DITH-lith.
