Event 1 & 2: A good while after giving birth to Henry and Kieran Marion and Matt decided to have another child. Around the same time Marion's best friend, Delilah Valentina, died. Marion was devastated and Matt suggested "Why not name our daughter after her?". Marion though this was a great idea and it actually made the pain go away a little bit.
Then, just two months before Delilah was said to be delivered, a sixteen-year-old girl knocked on the Wingates' door. Matt opened and there was a girl, blurting out something about Matt being her father and that her mother had abandoned her. At first Marion and Matt thought she was lying to get money and attention, but then they noticed that she actually really looked like Matt and that her story seemed to make sense. They took a paternity test and it turned out that she really was Matt's daughter. Matt decidded to take her in and give her a chance. Of course this set off a media storm with paparazzis surrounding their house day and night.
Marion can become a bit frustrated with Alessia sometimes, but Matt is good at handling her. Besides, Lucas and the twins really likes her.
