Kaija has gotten engaged! Guillaume was spending his gap year traveling when he met Kaija, the two clicked instantly and he spent a bit more time in Sweden than expected. When the family was about to head back to Finland he popped the question. The two are currently living in the summer house in Sweden, but intend to move to France. Viveka thinks it is all wonderful, but Niko is not so sure. After all, he and Kaija's mom were "in love" when they were young and that didn't end all to well...
Niko and Viveka have also welcomed another little one of their own. A little girl called Suvi. She a really happy little thing.
They have also adopted another little boy, Felix.
