Amity gave birth to twins two years ago, and was very happy! A boy and a girl, just like she'd wanted! But then Hester was diagnosed with heart disease. It was a rocky start for the family, but after three major surgeries Hester is now fine!
Once Mortimer and Amity was sure Hester was healthy they started to want another child. Amity really wanted another daughter but was also very happy to know that the child she was carrying was a healthy boy. Still, when she got the chance to adopt her aunt's 8th daughter she was thrilled! Amity and Mortimer just welcomed both George and Ruby!
