I prefer
Elissa
, a genuine historic name.
Otherwise, I'd use
Alyssa
.
Elyssa seems too confusing in spelling and origin. Pretty, though.

More likely Elissa with a trendy y, don't you think? Better than Dido, but asking for confusion with Elise, Eliza etc as well as Alyssa.
