Little Ruthie has almost passed away, and so have little Paul and Benedict. There was a terrible pestilence that passed over Count Peter and Countess Annabeth's home. Their children barely escaped, especially baby Benedict. He was already quite frail when he was born. It didn't help too much that he became deathly ill only a week after his birth. There is still a large chance that he could pass from this world, but Peter and Annabeth pray that it won't be so.
