It has been a year since little Ruthie was born. She is toddling about the manor, cooing and mumbling in baby-talk. When Annabeth and Peter found out that soon there would be another little one in their household and family, they were overjoyed at the prospect. Little Ruthie was excited to know she would have a little brother or sister, and, sure enough, nine months later, Ruthie was a big sister to healthy little Paul Bonaventure Cosimo Augustus. Ruthie and Paul get along quite well, now that Paul is four months old and Ruthie is on her way to being two in less than three and a half weeks. The little family of soon-to-be Count Peter and Countess Annabeth is growing and flourishing quite well.
