Gentry Ann - her parents actually named her after the social class. I strongly disapprove of such a theme because it shows that 1) they don't belong to it and 2) her siblings may have social class names that are higher-class than hers and her parents are thus putting a value on her and her name.

Totally agree on all points. This is in the same league as Princess, or naming your child London when you've never been there. Poor child.
