Help[Games] Nyx' Choose-Your-Own-Adventure KUY CAF - Round 1
Ok, the rules are pretty simple, I'll be providing two or more options, and you follow the "adventure" that suits you best. Each "adventure" will have it's own set of naming rules for that round. Stories are optional, but always enjoyed and encouraged :) Ages are optional, and you keep track of them yourself. I will not be killing off any family members in this game, but you may chose to do so yourself. I'll provide links to each previous round, so you can quickly find your family. You can chose to sign up and join at any time, just work your way to the current round.
Note: Just because your chose Adventure # in one round doesn't mean that you are stuck with that # for every other round. Each round you can chose your own adventure (hence, the name).

Adventure 1:
Your couple wasn't planing on starting there family quite so soon. In fact, it was so far from your DW's mind that at first she thought it was the flu! She was almost 4 months along before they found out they were actually pregnant and going to be parents. This was an intense shock to both the DH and DW. At first they talked about what their options were. In the end, the felt that there was nothing to do but welcome the child into their family and make whatever adjustments were necessary.

Adventure 2:
Both DW and DH knew that they wanted to start a family right away, and that is exactly what they set out to do. Little did they know that they would be so successful! Just 14 months after their wedding and they were welcoming twin boys into their family! They couldn't be more excited.

Adventure 3:
Your DH/DW knew that they wanted a child, but also knew that they might have difficulties due to a previous medical issue. With that in mind, they set out immediately to adopt. They got extremely lucky, and 9 months after they started the process met a teenage mother who was 6 months pregnant. She made quite an impression on them, and they did on her. It was all settled in short order, and they just needed to await the arrival of the baby. The mother will receive a "birthday" letter from the family each year with a report of what the child is doing and photos. In addition, when the child turns 18 s/he will be given a "memento" box from his/her birth mom with contact information should they ever wish to use it. Your DH/DW plan on letting the child know that they were very special and picked to be a part of this family, and never make the adoption a thing of shame or something that was hidden.

Louis and Violet are delighted to welcome twins! They couldn't believe it when they found out that they were having not one, but two babies and they wondered how they would cope! It has been a struggle financially so Louis has taken on extra hours but they are both naturals with the babies.

Rex and Daphne Rollins met at a political speech – Rex was there to support the candidate speaking; Daphne was there to protest every stance the candidate took. They got to talking (well, debating, really) after the speech and realized that, aside from their political differences, they actually had a lot in common. And, while they might not agree with each other on political issues, they could respect each other’s views and passion.
Round One:
When Daphne began getting sick in the mornings only a few months into their marriage, Rex and Daphne were sure that she just had the flu! When it persisted, they finally decided to get Daphne to a doctor. Both were shocked that she was already pregnant, but they were also overjoyed! Of course, naming their daughter was a challenge. Rex wanted something classy, like Vivian; Daphne wanted something a little more creative, like Amethyst. Finally, they were able to agree.

Leo, meanwhile, has been busy trying to build his new website. After thinking over different things he could sell on the internet to make money, he finally decided on selling books. He goes to garage sales around the city to collect books, and comes back home to sell them. Sometimes, he finds childrens' books and romance novels (Viv loves romance novels), and keeps them in the huge library they are collecting in their basement.

Leo and Viv grew up next door to each other in Petersville, a small town on the outskirts of a forest. Both of them couldn't wait to leave and move somewhere more "exciting". When Leo finished high school, Viv was heartbroken to hear that he was going to college in another state. Viv quit high school and moved with him, much to the extreme dissapointment of her parents. After dating for a year, Leo brought Viv on a trip to Paris. Viv was astonished and happy, since she had always wanted to go to Paris. Leo proposed, and Viv said yes. They got married in a famous cathedral and moved back to the U.S. Viv can't wait to have a HUGE family, one that Leo and Viv never had (they were both only-children), and Leo is ecstatic to begin his own business.

There's a lot of bizarrely named colours in the world. Do you know how difficult it was not to use "Awesome" as the middle name? Or "AuroMetalSaurus"? :p

That is Awesome! I used to have a fish called Captain Awesome, but he died (which was not awesome).

Roni and Lev were very surprised to find out they were expecting a child, after just a few months of marriage. Roni had thought that she had the flu but after her nausea wouldn't go away, Lev suggested the possibility that she was pregnant.
At first they were scared, because they were young and had just gotten married but once they told their parents and got their support, they happily welcomed baby Maya into their family.

Adventure 3: When Deanna was twelve years old, she was in a car crash and got severely injured. After months of anxious waiting she started to making progress, and some weeks later she was fully recovered - except her uterus. The doctors said that she will live a totally normal life .. but might have problem getting pregnant.
So when Rufus and Deanna discussed wether to have a baby or not, they decided to adopt. They met Marisol, a pregnant sixteen-year-old in high school. Marisol didn't want to quit high school, but she didn't want to make an abortion either, so she decided to give up the baby. Deanna and Rufus instantly sympathized with Marisol, and they are now welcoming a beautiful daughter into their family. They will always be thankful to Marisol!

Though Leo and Violet had planned on havng children soon when they were married, afterwards they talked it over and decided to wait a year or two, perhaps even until they were out of college, until they were in a better financial situation. But when Violet found out she was pregnant only a few months after they married, they decided at once to keep the baby. They sat down and very early planned arrangements. They decided that they would both take as many online classes as they could, and they would schedule the classes they couldn't take online so they wouldn't conflict. That way they wouldn't have to hire a babysitter or pay for daycare. They also talked to a financial aid advisor about scholarships they could get as married parents. They considered giving up their sandwich-cart business, but in the end it was decided that Leo would still run the sandwich cart so he could keep the baby with him while he worked while Violet took a part-time job as a copy editor for one of the Temple campus newspapers, which added enough to theri incomes for them to be prepared when little Eliana arrived. They chose her first name to honor Violet's Italian heritage, and her middle name to honro Violet herself. They liked the idea of their daughter having a name that, like Violet, was both a color and a thing in nature. Eliana Sky arrived on a beautiful day in spring, not long after the semester ended. Luke and Tori knew that they wanted to have a family soon after they were married, so they wasted no time in trying. Two months after their first anniversary, Tori gave birth to twin boys--Davy and Danny. Luke loves having little boys, and is happy that they will grow up always having someone to play with. Tori is a little overwhelmed with two newborns, but is learning fast. Luke's horse training business is just getting off the ground. He bought several unbroken colts and is working on training them. Luke and Tori knew that they wanted to have a family soon after they were married, so they wasted no time in trying. Two months after their first anniversary, Tori gave birth to twin boys--Davy and Danny. Luke loves having little boys, and is happy that they will grow up always having someone to play with. Tori is a little overwhelmed with two newborns, but is learning fast. Luke's horse training business is just getting off the ground. He bought several unbroken colts and is working on training them. Your couple wasn't planing on starting there family quite so soon. In fact, it was so far from your DW's mind that at first she thought it was the flu! She was almost 4 months along before they found out they were actually pregnant and going to be parents. This was an intense shock to both the DH and DW. At first they talked about what their options were. In the end, the felt that there was nothing to do but welcome the child into their family and make whatever adjustments were necessary.
Ronan & Delia were not planning to have kids any time soon. They decided to wait until they graduated and had decent jobs. But things don't always happen like you plan. Delia started feeling sick and tired. At first she thought it was flu or something like that. After feeling sick several weeks Delia went to see a doctor who told that she was pregnant. Delia and Ronan were shocked at first as they had decided to wait several years before having children. After lots of thinking they decided to keep the baby when they realized how much they already loved their unborn child. Little Emmeline Jonquil was born on her parents' first wedding anniversary.

Suprisingly, Delilah was the first to recover, saying that it wasn't the end of the world and they could always adopt. So the pair set about looking right away. After nine months they met a young teenage mother who was unable to keep her baby. The young Mother ended up choosing the Rogers' to take care of her baby girl under the condition that when the baby was eighteen she would be given her contact information.
Roland and Delilah agreed enthusiastically and were their for the birth of their new daughter who they named Florence Wilhelmina - her middle name honouring her strong birth Mother.
