[Opinions] New sextuplet show on TV in USA
Here are the names...ready?? They are the first latin sextuplets but the family has an older child as well.
Jhan Carlos (10)
Sextuplets (1)
Jaden Ivan
Joel Alberth (prn Jo-EL)
Jezreel Eliceo (they prn Jez-ree-ahl)
Justin Leo
Genesis Victoria
Daniela Victoria (prn Dan-el-EE-ah)
Parents: Digna and Victor
Personally, I think the names suck as a sibset. All J sounds except Daniela?? I also dislike all of the names alone except Leo, Victoria and Daniela

How can Daniela be pronounced Dan-el-EE-ah? That makes no sense.
I wondered the same but that's what they say and that is the spelling.
Jhan Carlos - Carlos is OK, Jhan just looks strange
Jaden Ivan - I like Ivan, but not Jaden
Joel Alberth - I like Joel, but Alberth looks strange. Why not Albert or Alberto?
Jezreel Eliceo - the horror!
Justin Leo - OK
Genesis Victoria - not too keen on Genesis, but Victoria is OK
Daniela Victoria - nice
Digna and Victor - Victor is nice. I know that Digna is a totally normal name, but in Swedish it means "to be weighed down" [under a burden] or "to groan with" [a lot of delicious food for example].

yea i was watching it lol. i personally love Jhan Carlos! i also like the mix of hispanic and english names together. I really Jezreel!!
I like the mix of Spanish, English, and in-between names in this set. Jhan Carlos is handsome, and Jhan is an intuitive spelling of Gian to Spanish speakers, though I see how it would be confusing to English speakers. Jaden and Ivan are both nice names, as are Justin and Leo. I really like Joel Alberth and Jezreel Eliceo (though I don't like how the el- sounds repeat)--they're each a great match of an Old Testament name with an old Spanish name. Genesis Victoria and Daniela Victoria are both lovely as well, though it doesn't seem "fair" that Daniela should be the only non-J sound in the set.
Also, props to a family raising sextuplets in New York City.

Actually, the sextuplets can be happy that their names are recognisable for what they are, unlike big brother Jhan!
But you're right, it is an odd sibset. Megatrendy Jaden meets yesterday's trend Justin collides with Old Testament Joel (which I like, but not pronounced their way) and Jezreel; and then the silliness of Genesis and the waste of Daniela (why not give one of the boys the dignity of Daniel and find something else for the girls: Victoria would do nicely for one, after Dad, and most things would be better than Genesis!). Overall, a wasted opportunity.

Oh and Jhan is prn like Gian. Why not use the real thing?
ROFL I concur!
Jezreel
It's biblical all right: I think it's a city or a geographical area. Not a personal name, but in the 21st century no doubt it could be.
