[Opinions] Adelina or Polina
Adelina or Polina? Which name do you prefer? The middle name will be Aleksandra, after her father and grandfather. Can you think of any cute nicknames other than Lina?
Opinions and suggestions are very much welcome!

I prefer Paulina BUT Polina is nice also. I want to say Polina because it's less sing-songy but i like the fluid sound of Adelina Aeksandra. Then again, my taste is very over the top... eh... I have been no help! Sorry!

Polina, if the middle name is Aleksandra.Polly is a cute nickname, I think.

Like many others, I think that Polina is my less favourite of the two, but that Polina Aleksandra flows best. Polly is a bit of a bland nickname in my opinion, but it's sweet enough on a young child, and the kind of nickname it's possible to grow up with. I prefer Lina, though.

Although I prefer Adelina to Polina, I think Polina Aleksandra sounds much better than Adelina Aleksandra.I like Polly as a nickname for Polina.

Definitely Adelina over Polina which doesn't look attractive at all to me. I do like Paulina somewhat. Polina does look better with Aleksandra, though.Lina is cute but I suppose you could go with Addie or even Ada.

Ada's a good idea!

I personally prefer Adeline over Adelina, if I'm to be honest, but I do find Adelina to be very beautiful itself. You might want to think about, also, the double A if you choose Adelina -- Adelina Aleksandra. It just depends on whether or not you find that bothersome. Both are very beautiful names - great choices! I like Polina a lot as well, but I'm tempted to say "Poe-lee-na" right off. I like the flow of Polina Aleksandra.Nn's for Polina:
Po (pronounced Poe)
Olin/ Olina?
Poli (Polly)
LinNn's for Adelina:
Adel/e
Adela (as it is a form of Adela.)
Del
Lin
Addie
Adeli (aay-deh-lee?)Hope I could be of some assistance!

Polina. Adelina is cute but I think Polina is more interesting, as it doesnt' sound like Addison or any other popular 'addy' names going around at the moment.Adelina - Del, Della, Addy
Polina - Polly, Polya, Polinka (really playing on the Russian here!)Both are nice choices though.

On its own, I prefer Adelina, but I don't think two A's would work to well together, so I'd have to say Polina Aleksandra (unless you prefer Adelina Aleksandra)nn for AdelinaAdele, AdePolina = Polly (oh please don't)sorry I'm not very good at nicknames...
