Hmm, adventure 3 again this time...
Sunny and Jamie were deeply affected when they heard about an earthquake so close to them. They were appalled at the devastation, and at the sheer multitude of children who were left homeless and orphaned. A reclusive religious sect had been uncovered by the earthquake as their compound had been burned and many of their adults killed. They called themselves The Fruitful, and while they were conservative in most of their religious beliefs, they took the command to go forth and multiply very seriously. The average family included ten children, and large extended families lived together in compounds. The children were taken into protective custody at first, but as the sect was benign, was not a cult, and treated the children very well, most children were returned to their parents, and the orphans were placed with relatives. But there were still many children who had no family left. These children were placeed in foster care, and Sunny and Jamie decided to open their home and hearts to these children. They got certified as foster parents and were immediately given three siblings. They were the only three survivors of their family, their parents (both only children) both dying in the earthquake. Adam, Hannah, and Deborah were quiet and reclusive for the first few weeks, but with counceling and attention they opened up. Jamie and Sunyn grew to love them as their own children, and Evie and the twins obviously considered them their siblings, so after an appropriate time they decided to adopt them. Adam, Hannah, and Deborah are now officially part of the family, and no one could be happier about it.
