In the Kingdom of Dunlin
Celebrations abound in Fwodin and Kin, for each has a newborn princess! Unfortunately, it has been said that those close to both young royals are sure there will be no more children for either Princess Lucy or Empress Magdalena.
Princess Lucy and Prince Edward, it is said, have agreed to separate bedchambers. Many said that the young couple acted more like brother and sister and it seems as though the young Royals agreed. They needed an heir, however, and now have her. Princess Wilhelmina, if she lives to adulthood, will be one of the few female “kings” of Fwodin. King Edvard is still trying to convince his son and daughter-in-law that they need to produce a male heir, but neither is inclined to agree with him, at the moment.
Empress Magdalena, it is said, cannot bear any more children. This seems to have been confirmed when she and Emperor Consort Arthur made King Frederick VI of Dunlin her daughter’s guardian and heir.
In Dunlin, the news is that the two youngest princesses have gotten engaged, each within a day of the other and to cousins! This has given the flood-ravaged Dunlin something to celebrate in a time of great need.
