Jake and Tess go to Hawaii to celebrate their anniversary.

Tess loses her job as a teacher at a local School due to downsizing. She decides to stay home to raise her children.

Tess and Jake are ecstatic to welcome their first baby. A little girl! Tess didn't kow she was pregnant until her mother came to vissit and suggested she was. Tess then took a pregnancy test that came back positive. Eleanor Sunniva Emerson has lots of straight brown hair and big blue eyes just like her mother.

The Emersons welcome another baby girl just a year after Ellie's birth. Marie Lily Emerson has black, wavy hair and hazel eyes.
5) Adoption
Tess is enjoying being a mother! So much so that only a few months after Marie's birth, Tessa mentions to Jake the idea of adopting to expand their family. Jake couldn't agree more. After filling out the adoption forms and waiting a few months, they are matched with a 5 year-old girl from Africa. She has black curly hair and big brown eyes, and her name is Zuri Adanna.

The Emerson's welcome their first son! Jake is extremely happy. This birth was quite unusual, since the baby was delivered in the shopping centre. Tessa had taken the girls to buy clothes and she suddenly started feeling contractions. An ambulance arrived almost immediately, but there was no time to take her to the hospital. Vincent Jacob has brown wavy hair and grey eyes.

After Vince's birth, Jake and Tessa decide to continue expanding the family, and apply again for a new adoption. They are soon matched with a lovely 10-year-old girl from North America. Her name is Madeleine Grace and she has brown, wavy hair and amber eyes. Maddy is shy at first, but she quickly becomes very good friends with Zuri and they become very attached. Both are delighted to have someone the same age to play with.

The Adoption agancy calls to see if the Emersons would be interested in adopting 6-year-old identical twin girls from Australia. They are delighted and accept without a second thought. Skye and Zoe are two lively girls with wavy red hair and blue eyes. They become very good friends with Marie and Ellie.

Jake and Tess decide to adopt again. Since they have excellent references in the aoption agancy, they are wuickly matched with another girl. Rosalie Anne is a 10-year-old girl from North America. She has brown, Curly hair and hazel eyes. Rosie loves having a big, loving family!
