My intention was not to mock you personally, Danny, since I don't even know you. I am only deriding those people I KNOW who pass themselves off as Goth. And believe me, I haven't exaggerated one bit in describing some of the friends of my (non-Goth) daughter who've shown up on our doorstep in the past two years.
If these folks are atypical, then they are giving the rest of you a bad image. And that sucks.
Incidentally, "Wizzy" came up in an earlier board discussion CheBanana and I had on the
Roman letter "v" -- was it pronounced "v" or "w" (as in modern Latin)? This led to speculation that the Western Goths, or Visigoths, should be "Wizzygoths", and the puns were all downhill from there.
