Sarah had finally begun running the kingdom when she was 18 and she started doing it all by herself at 19. When she was 20, she gave birth to her first daughter, Shir. By that time she had also decided to take on the name of Sofia, in her royal title. Shir Amit roughly means song of friend(ship). Amit was the name of Avi's father. Avital is not only a version of Avi and Tal (Avi's father's last name), but it is also means "my father is the night dew" in reference to the fact that Avi's father would often leave early in the morning to start his treks so he was "gone with the night's dew".
David married once more, a woman he had been in love for quite some time now. He had met Leah when she was hired as a servant for his daughters, Yardena and Tali. It was love at first sight, but they had to keep it to themselves, because until Sarah was ruling, he was not allowed to remarry. Even after his daughter became the official malka, they waited a little bit, as to not anger her, who still missed her mom. bat Miriam is her last name
This is good news because Maya has decided that she would like to give up her title, in order to run an orphanage for children whose parents were killed in the war or by terrorist attacks.
Dan has also made a rather big decision. Always one for adventure, he wants to join the navy. David is rather uncertain if he should allow his son to go but if that's what he really wants.. and if Sarah approves, of course. When he talked to Sarah, Sarah told him that once he was of age, he could join, but as a navigator or officer. Dan is still unsure what position he wants, though.
Adi had been seen around the court with many boys and that worries David because it could be ruining her public image, it's unethical, and it could end up dangerously. He has begged her to stop but she seems not to hear him. It has gotten so bad that he has asked Sofia to take care of it. Sofia threatens to send Adi up north to a secure castle where she would barely she the daylight, if she keeps it up.
