Sarah is a nurse and travels around the world to give medical help to poor people. David is a photographer so he can travel with her and make pictures of the nature and the other cultures. When they worked in Côte d'Ivoire they got to know the little Jean-Baptiste Benoit, an orphan boy and fall in love with him. He had an cardiac defect and Sarah was his nurse. After many complications during the surgeries, the little village called the brave boy Kayin, which means "celebrated child" in Yoruba. So Sarah and David named him Kayin, too.
