The advisors of Avi and David encouraged them not to have more children, at least for the time being. Both melech and malka were slightly saddened that they may not have any more children, but they were assured that it was only for the next several years and that Avi was still young, surely Sarah wouldn't end up an only nesicha. To make sure Avi didn't get pregnant, the advisors sent David on a tour of the country. He was gone for over two years. When he returned, the advisors advised them to be careful, Avi's doctor had not cleared her for childbearing, yet. But when they saw each other after years apart, the melech and malka couldn't help themselves. Just over nine months later, Nesicha Maya Lior Tikvah was born. Sarah was super excited about being a big sister, and the empire was thrilled. Even so, the advisors suggested that David leave his family once more, Avi was definitely not ready for another child. David refused, threatening that if Avi got wind of this, the one who told her would be thrown in prison. David had just gotten his life back, and he was not planning on losing it once more and that would just cause more harm than good. He had missed 2 years of his daughter's life, his marriage. The doctor who was assigned to the malka suggested that they abstain until the younger nesicha has at least celebrated her first birthday, but preferably till her second one. David agreed and that is what they told the malka.The melech and malka managed to follow orders until the little nesicha was slightly over the age of one. By her second birthday she had become an older sister.
