I quite like it. I wish there wasn't the Jessica Alba association though :( Nothing against her it's just I think the association would be very strong for a lot of people (at least in North America) and would sort of take away from the individuality of the name.

I like it! I'm also fond of Rosalba and Albina.

I have loved Alba ever since I've read The Time Traveler's Wife. It is cute on a little girl and very elegant on a grown woman. Plus, it's pretty international, easy to pronounce for everyone and doesn't stand out in an akward way in most languages.

I love love love Alba! I think it is so sweet, beautiful, old fashioned, and unique!

Reminds me too much of Jessica Alba. What about Alma?

I like it. I will admit that I started liking this name because of Albus Dumbledore...

Reminds me of the Time Travelers Wife, that was their daughters name. Its kinda cute but I am not a big fan.

It has a pretty and bright sound. I like that it is short and feminine, and doesn't need extra frills. I also like Alma a lot, but the 'b' in the middle of a name is unusual, I like it.

I like it! One of my roommates this year is named Alba, and having a face/personality to go with a name I wasn't familiar with really helped it grow on me.
