Is this Tara from the previous Lucia Paige / Paige Lucia thread? http://www.behindthename.com/bb/arcview.php?id=3869095&board=babyI still like it. Obviously you are unsure about it. What is it that's not sitting right with you?

Hi, yes that is me! Actually before I think I was contemplating Paige Lucia... and now I am thinking about reversing it to be Lucia Paige. I love Lucia but am concerned about the multiple pronunciations. I am really beginning to love Lucy as a nickname though and think it might be worth the risk of dealing with people mispronouncing, especially if we will go by lucy most of the time. My family seems to think Lucia is a lot nicer than Paige too, and I admit I feel like that is influencing me a bit....

Ahh yes, I think you may get a few stumbles over Lucia, since both "LOO-sha" and "lu-SEE-ah" seem to be accepted versions. If you would call her Lucy anyways, why not find a combo of Lucy A____? That way the full name together would sound like Lucia ____. Like, Lucy Annabel for instance (I know you said you liked Annabel before). but honestly I think voth Lucia Paige and Paige Lucia are fine names. I'd be more inclined to say Lucia "LOO-sha" when it is out front, and "lu-SEE-ah" when in the middle - but I'm not sure why! And honestly if you go by Lucy then it shouldn't be much of a problem. And unless you very much mind gently correcting people as to the pronunciation, Lucia's not really a complex name. I think it would be fine!
