Help[Games] Notabarbiedol's Very First Congrats Round Un!
In this round, you may name your child anything you please! Whee! Adopted children have a country in parentheses after their name. Since I like ages, I'll keep track of those who had them, so if you want ages, feel free to add them in this round. If you hate ages, don't feel forced to include them. Also, I'm going to include a narrative prompt in each round, which you can respond to or not respond to in as exhaustive or cursory detail as you'd like.
So, let us begin!
Each couple now has their first child. How is he/she affecting their relationship? How do they deal with the new challenges a child brings? If their child was adopted, how did that affect things? If biological, who is the child's biological parent, and how does that affect the relationship? In general, what's going on in your couple's life?

"I'm telling you, I want to see you guys, but I don't wanna leave. She's so sweet." Finlo whispered into the phone as he sat in the orphanage late one night.
"I saw the pictures you tweeted, but we miss you too." Ciaran whined back.
“Filming‘s over in two weeks.” Finlo reminded. “I‘ll be home sooner than later.” He sounded sadder about it than Ciaran thought he should have and he frowned in confusion. He usually liked his jobs, but he usually was more than ready to come home when he was done filming.
“Is that Fin?” a voice asked on Ciaran’s side of the line and soon the phone had been snatched away.
“You‘ve been gone too long. Ciaran‘s turning into a whiney, clingy limpet. Please come home today or you know, tomorrow at the latest and save my sanity.” Monday chimed.
“Have not,” Ciaran could be heard protesting, but Finlo just smiled. He missed them. He missed staying up watching movies and laughing late into the evenings, curling up with them both in a great warm bed at night, then getting up and running with Ciaran in the mornings before both of them got back and practically pulled Monday from the bed sheets he was still cocooned in so they could officially begin their days. That was comfortable. That was home. That was where he loved with the people he loved.
But he knew that if he left South Korea, part of what he loved would be there forever too.
Adoptions take a long time, but they knew they’d eventually do something like that. Finlo and Ciaran were too warm and loving of people not to want children. They both had cousins and nieces and nephews that they adored and were great with. So when everything worked out, they all went to South Korea and didn’t return without the little girl that had nearly kept Finlo there the first time.
Iseul is a sweet little girl, but it’s obvious Monday doesn’t know what to do with her. He’s tries though and that’s what he figures matters the most.

Layla had the baby, by a sperm donor. Katharine was happy to let Layla experience pregnancy and labour first, but she definitely wants to do it too. They both have a very close bond with the baby and don't feel that they have been affected too much by who carried the baby, but more the arrival and sleepless nights. They are loving being mums, and they have both taken time off work although Katharine will go back to work in a few weeks.

The first pregnancy took the young couple by surprise. Not the pregnancy itself as they obviously had to jump through some hoops to get that to happen but their reactions to it. Maia carried the baby as Aspen's career was more lucrative and rewarding at the time and they didn't want too much strain on that income. They were absolutely thrilled when they found out Maia was pregnant. Soon, however, Maia's hormones started getting the best of her. Maia, who usually is happy-go-lucky and calm, became high-strung and moody. She would snap at Aspen, immediately regret doing so, then burst into tears! It was a trying time for both women but after a few months Maia's hormones settled down and she and Aspen both heaved a sigh of relief.
The rest of the pregnancy passed pretty incident free and after months of anticipation Griffin Oliver was born! The couple decided on Griffin as a strong, unusual name (much though it's gained in popularity of late) and Oliver after Maia's favorite grandfather. The young couple has fallen into the swing of parenting quickly, doting on their boy and adoring every minute of it (although Aspen often conveniently finds another task to start working on when she suspects a dirty diaper!) Their relationship has stayed strong throughout the early trials of the pregnancy and only grown closer with the addition of their first baby. They're already discussing when to expand the family again!

Sam & Eoin were very excited by the birth of their son, Seamus William. Eoin is Seamus' biological father, this decision was taken after tests that deemed Sam couldn't have biological children. Eoin and Sam were however very thrilled with the fact they could find a surrogate mother so quickly. Seamus is doing wonderfully, and so is the couple, easily settling into fatherhood.

After adopting Alex from Russia, Seth & Randy's relationship grew so much. They absolutely love spending time with Aleksandr, who they call Alex, they love being with him, they really don't like taking him to day care. Seth & Randy's love for each other are stronger than ever. They want more kids! Right now, Seth & Randy are still helping Alex adjust to his new surroundings but their also going back to work. They only took take a month & a half off then I had to go right back to work. To help with the mini language barrier, Seth & Randy hired a speech therapist to help Alex once a week.

Since the idea of being pregnant and giving birth is the very worst form of torture for Dot, Anna very willingly becomes pregnant using the sperm of a mutual friend of theirs. They are both overjoyed when Nathaniel is born, but it is difficult for the new mothers: Anna falls into a deep depression, convinced she is not doing enough for her child, and Dot is completely frazzled trying to take care of a fragile newborn and her (seemingly) even more fragile partner. After a few months of sleepless nights and crying jags, Anna finally sees a psychiatrist and goes on medication and begins therapy. She is much happier, and since Nathaniel is now on more of a schedule and is becoming more active and engaging, Dot has an easier time relating with her son. Both women couldn't be happier as a new family.
