Mireio and Nasrin decided to start a family by undergoing in-vetro fertilisation. Nasrin carried the child. They chose the name Julien for their son because they wanted a name that would work both in English and in French, as they plan to visit France often. Julien also honours Nasrin, as her middle name is Julia. Somerset was chosen because the couple met in Somerset, England while both were studying abroad.
