The children have been growing and growing, too fast in Kat's opinion.
Her four eldest children have finished their formal educations.
Max went to college in the city (NY, duh) and got a degree in law. His wife still doesn't know about the family business.
Zack married the daughter of Simon. She is extremely smart, like her father. Obviously, she knows about the business as she was raised within the family.
Abbie was trained by Eddie, but she's following in Max's footsteps and getting a degree in law. Unlike Max, her school of choice is Harvard. Luckily, the Hales are a rich family so they put up what money wasn't given to her in a scholarship.
Jake just finished high school. He plans on going to medical school, at Columbia. He thinks this will help the business because then no one has to go to the hospital.
Sasha and Kate are very close and smart. Both girls are well ahead of the kids in their private school classes. With Sasha having just finished 11th grade and Kate finishing 8th, Kat is not ready for them to leave, though she knows it's inevitable.
The grandkids will likely be raised in the business, especially Maya.
