Michelle is my middle name, though I spell it with one L - Michele. No accent over the E. It's after my aunt, who spells it the same way. I've known several people who spell it Michele, but I've also known tons of Michelles. Off the top of my head I only know one other person with it as a middle name - she spells it the same way I do.
It does feel dated to around my age group (I'm 22) and a little before. The youngest Michelle I know is 18. I think it needs a bit more of a rest before it makes a "comeback." I think it just recently dropped out of the top 100.
