[Opinions] Silvia Louise nickname
My 10-month old daughter is named Silvia Louise. Lately I have been calling her Silvie Lou. What do you think of the nickname Silvie Lou for her? What about just plain old Silvie?

Silvie Lou is quite cute! Plain ol' Sylvie would be fine too, especially as she grows older. (unless she's comfortable with Sylvie Lou. To me it sounds youthful, but that's not a bad thing)

Firstly, great name! Silvie Lou is sweet on a young girl, and Silvie works at any age. :)

Silvie Lou is darling. It reminds me a bit of Cindy-Lou Who, but not enough that it would be a problem. Silvie is nice and would be a good nickname for the general population, as it couldn't be taken as cutesy. Silvie Lou is a sweet nickname for with family. I like it a lot. You named her well :)

Silvia Louise is beautiful. Congratulations on a beautiful girl and giving her such a fitting name. :-)Silvie Lou and Silvie are both terrific. I think if you use Silvie Lou someone along the way will shorten it to Silvie. So you might as well use both now.

Silvie Lou is fine for a child, but I imagine as she gets older she might would want something a little different. Personally, if it were my name, I'd probably go with Sil for simplicity. Silvie isn't bad either. The only others I can think of is Vee, or maybe Sib or Sibbie (which is more appropriate for Sybil but might would stretch enough to use for Silvia).
