I think Ione is pretty! I think I like it better with Nina, too, although I wouldn't say it fits with Nina better than Iris necessarily.
The only Ione I've ever known pronounced her name eye-OWN. So I'm sure plenty of people will say it that way. It's not a hard correction to make, though.
