[Opinions] New Twin Pair (new for me, at least)
I came across these two-year-old twins the other day, a girl named Delia and a boy named Elias. The parents explained the choice and it turned out that both have "elia" in their names, but Delia has a D in it for "daughter". Elias has an S on the end for "son". I thought it was pretty creative, plus they have different sounds. Delia rhymes with Amelia, and they pronounce Elias like Elijah with a different ending.

That is pretty clever actually! I like it because it's not the typical in your face theme and therefore doesn't make it tacky.

That is actually pretty cool. They're not really "matchy" names because they sound so different but they go very well together. It would have taken me quite a while to notice the "elia" thing if you hadn't mentioned it so I think it works. =)

That is pretty creative. I don't think I ever would have picked up on that had you not told us. They're very different names even with all the spelling similarities. Delia and Elias aren't my favorite names but I think they're respectable choices.

Hmmm...very clever AND very subtle but I wonder how they came up with the idea in the first place. Whatever, I do like Delia and Elias together.

I love Elias, but am not a huge fan of Delia (perfer Dalia or Delilah).

Nice names, but kind of a corny rationale behind them if you ask me. Why do people immediately get dopey and cute as soon as there is more than one baby? Would they have done the same thing if the kids had been born four years apart? I bet not. I hope they liked the names Delia and Elias on their own and didn't pick them just so it fit with their "D is for daughter and S is for son" joke. But Delia and Elias are lovely names I must say.

Nice name set. I love Delia and like Elias

That's pretty cool. I wouldn't like it if the "elia" parts were pronounced the same, but it's nice that they found a connection between two legitimate names so that it's not totally obvious why they used them.

I'm not sure if that's corny or neat. But at least they're both legitimate names, so I guess it's just a neat "coincidence."

That's... very nerdy. I think I like it. ;)
